Whitby delivered most of the boats with a standpipe exhaust system
but most boats have since replaced these with a waterlift muffler. Here's a piping arrangement
for the Atomic 4 with the waterlift muffler in the port sail locker.

Note: Since drawing this, I've made a mixing pipe using a Groco hose barb (1-1/4" thread to 1-1/2" hose). I drilled an angled hole which I tapped for a 3/8" pipe nipple. This avoided brazing.
Also, I put everything together with pipe dope to avoid leaks.
